Description of Shimano STePS EW-EN100 Junction-A Kit
Thanks to Shimano's D-Fly technology, the STePS EW-EN100 junction box can connect the E-Bike wirelessly (via ANT or Bluetooth) to a smartphone or third-party device. Those who prefer a simple and clean cockpit can also drive solely with the junction kit as its small display provides information about the battery capacity and the support mode. By connection with the E-Tube Project software you can update the bike's firmware and adjust individually its settings.
Note:
In order to ensure proper functioning of the electronic STePS drive system, all components require the same firmware version. The optional diagnostic device allows for reading out or updating the firmware version. An operation of components with different firmware versions may cause a malfunction or loss of function.
